Barça hammered Osasuna 7-1 at the Camp Nou to keep pace with Real Madrid for the league title.

Fresh from their magnificent victory over Real Madrid on Sunday, FC Barcelona were back in action when they hosted last place Osasuna. Messi opened the scoring in the 12th minute with another memorable goal. Gomes doubled the side’s lead in the 30th minute to end the half 2-0 in front of the Blaugrana faithful at the Camp Nou. Three minutes after the restart, Osasuna pulled one back with a Torres free kick.

Nonetheless, Barça would go on to score five unanswered goals. Gomes scored the insurance goal in the 57th minute before Messi grabbed his second in the 61st minute. Paco Alcacer scored the club’s fifth goal and three minutes, Mascherano finally scored his first ever goal for Barça with a penalty in the 67th minute. Paco scored his second and the club’s final four minutes from time.

Barça and Real Madrid still remain level on points following Madrid’s victory against Deportivo. Next up for Barça is the Derbi barceloní on Saturday.

Barça defeat Real Madrid 2-3 with late Messi winner.

Barça pulled off a superb last gasp winner against arch rivals Real Madrid in a memorable 2-3 victory. Messi and Rakitic scored the first two goals before Messi sealed the winner in stoppage time.

Barça faced Real Madrid in Madrid with Neymar out of the lineup. Instead, it was Paco Alcacer who started in his place on the left side of MSN. Barça thought would fall behind when Casemiro put Real Madrid ahead in the 28th minute after Sergio Ramos’s effort struck the post and Casemiro was there to tap in the opener. Time for a Barça Overhaul!

For the second year in a row, Barça crash out of the Champions League’s Quarter-Finals. The team has a few weeks of football left to try to win a domestic double. However, an overhaul is in order for next season.
