Barça remain unbeaten after 5-1 victory over Villarreal.

FC Barcelona’s quest for from going the entire La Liga season unbeaten continued after a comfortable 5-1 victory over Villarreal. The Blaugrana scored two quick goals in the 11th minute, courtesy of Coutinho, and in the 16th minute via Paulinho. Messi then stuck the dagger into the yellow submarine’s hearts with a beautiful goal in the 44th minute after a fantastic exchange between him and Iniesta.

Although Villarreal responded in the 54th minute with a goal that deflected off Nicola Sansone, the Blaugrana scored two late goals, courtesy of Dembélé to end the game 5-1 in Barça’s favor. Only two games remain for them to finish their campaign unbeaten. Next up is a trip to Levante on Sunday before they host Real Sociedad for the final curtain of this campaign.
