FC Barcelona suffered their first league loss since November after falling 2-0 at Celta Vigo with a starting eleven mostly consisting of backups. The starting eleven were met by a guard of honor by the Celta Vigo players prior to the kickoff after Barça won the league crown last weekend. The one usual starter, Dembélé, lasted only six minutes before being replaced because of a hamstring injury and will likely miss the second leg of the UEFA Champions League Semi-Finals tie against Liverpool on Tuesday. Both sides played to a scoreless first half before Maxi Gómez gave Celta the lead in the 67th minute Iago Aspas scored from the penalty spot to make it 2-0. Barça will now shift their focus to Tuesday’s trip to Liverpool for the second leg of the UEFA Champions League Semi-Finals clash with a 3-0 aggregate lead.
